Rana is a first-generation, fourth-year student at the University of Iowa pursuing her undergraduate studies in Neuroscience and the pre-med field. Driven by a desire to make a tangible impact on people's lives, she aspires to attend medical school in an MD/PhD program post-graduation. Rana intends to bridge the gap between academia and healthcare, translating scientific discoveries into practical treatments and therapies for patients in need. Her ultimate goal is to contribute to the development of groundbreaking treatments for neurological disorders. Outside her rigorous academic pursuits Rana finds solace in the pages of books, indulging in various genres to broaden her perspective and nourish her imagination. Additionally, Rana believes in the power of physical fitness to maintain a healthy body and mind. She has developed a passion for weightlifting, challenging herself to new heights and finding empowerment in the process.
