My name is Koffi Amegble, my pronouns are he/him/his and my hometown is Savannah, GA. I am a Year 1 Postbaccalaureate Fellow through the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center. In undergrad I majored in Biology at Grinnell College and I currently I work for the Howard Lab. As the lab strives to develop novel and effective combination therapies (i.e., chemotherapy and radiotherapy) to treat incurable diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) in pediatric patients, my role is to study an HDAC inhibitor called Sirtinol and its efficacy in vitro and in vivo as a targeted therapy for brain stem tumors.
