Alyson is a fourth year undergraduate from Lenexa, KS pursuing a degree in Biochemistry at the University of Kansas. After graduation, she plans to keep pursuing biochemistry, striving to obtain her Ph.D. and conduct her own research. She is driven by a desire to improve the field of medicine through research, hoping that one day she can increase the quality of life of those suffering from illnesses. Outside of the lab, Alyson enjoys to travel, play board games with her friends, and work out at the university fitness center.
